Accessibility by people with visual impairments and other disabilities is built into Digital Fife.
Features such as screenreader compatibility, user control of font size and contrast, the facility to read aloud pages and automatic translation ensure Digital Fife websites can be used by all.
Digital Fife websites consistently score highly on internationally recognised accessibility tests.
This can accommodate around 20 people comfortably. It has vinyl flooring, fluorescent lights and dimmable wall lights. There is a good amount of natural light from roof windows during the day. It is adjacent to a well-equipped kitchen and there is a large serving hatch between the two which can be used for serving food or as a bar.
The room is ideal for meetings, training sessions, small parties or as an overflow from a larger event in the Main Hall.
For events that include children there is a monitor that can display a picture from a video camera focussed on the front door so users can see who is entering or leaving the building
