Luthrie Village Hall

The Hall is in the village of Luthrie which is around 5 miles NW of Cupar in North Fife.  It is a registered charity  managed by a Committee of volunteers who meet at least four times per year.  Each year in November there is an Annual General Meeting to which members of the public are invited and have an opportunity to raise topics of interest with the Committee.  It is also an opportunity for anyone interested to volunteer to serve on the Committee and help with running the Hall.

Objects (Extracted from the Hall Constitution)

  1. To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Creich Parish and its vicinity (hereinafter called "the Community") 
  2. To manage, maintain, improve where necessary a Community Hall (hereinafter called “the Hall") and to co-operate with any local statutory authority or authorities in the maintenance and management of such a Hall in the furtherance of all or any of the objects below.
  3. To promote the Hall for as many purposes as possible which are compatible with the provisions of the Trust, the restraints of legislation, the safety of users and the maintenance of the fabric, furniture and equipment.
  4. To ensure that the Hall is available, within reason, to all members of the Community for the encouragement of physical and mental training and recreation, social, moral and intellectual development as may be found expedient for the inhabitants of the Community without distinction of gender, race, sexual orientation, political belief, religious or other opinion.
  5. To encourage and enable provision to help and educate young people through their leisure time activities to enable them to grow to full maturity as responsible individuals and members of society and that their conditions of life may be improved.
  6. To promote Community spirit and assist in the relief of poverty and distress and such other purposes as may by law be deemed to be charitable.
  7. To endeavour to encourage a balanced programme of Community activities for all age groups and interests.

The Organisation shall have power to affiliate to National Associations and other Organisations whose objects shall not be inconsistent with those set out above.

* Room and Equipment bookings

* Ticket sales

* Information about forthcoming events

 

This information is retained by Luthrie Village Hall in order to conduct business with you efficiently and is deleted when no longer required.

 

You have the right to request a copy of the data held by Luthrie Village Hall and to ask for data to be corrected or to be deleted.

 

Your consent is also sought before we would use your identifiable image on any publication, including websites or social media.

 

We do not share your data with other companies, organisations or individuals for them to contact you or to use your data in any way.

 

Access to the data is strictly controlled to office bearers and those responsible for hall events management.
