Accessibility by people with visual impairments and other disabilities is built into Digital Fife.
Features such as screenreader compatibility, user control of font size and contrast, the facility to read aloud pages and automatic translation ensure Digital Fife websites can be used by all.
Digital Fife websites consistently score highly on internationally recognised accessibility tests.
The Main Hall can accommodate up to 100 people. The floor is a solid beech sprung floor suitable for indoor sports events and is marked out for a badminton singles court. There are fluorescent lights and dimmable wall lights to provide versatile illumination for a wide range of events including dances, parties, receptions etc.
There is an induction loop system installed which can be linked to the Hall PA system to assist those with compatible hearing aids. A headset is available if required and is included with the PA System.
For events that include children there is a monitor that can display a picture from a video camera focussed on the front door so users can see who is entering or leaving the building.
